Abstract

Everyone, including women, has the inherent right to an education. But prejudice and restricted educational opportunities persist for many women because of patriarchal culture, poverty, war, and skewed societal views. Examining Malala Yousafzai's ideas via the feminist lens and how they relate to the fight for women's education is the goal of this research. This study employs a library research strategy with a qualitative focus. I Am Malala, written by Malala Yousafzai and Christina Lamb, was the primary source of information gathered from a variety of sources, including books, scientific publications, essays, and others. Text analysis, discursive practice, and social practice were all part of the data analysis process that followed Norman Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis methodology. Based on her own experiences with gender injustice, Malala's feminist narrative became a worldwide movement fighting for the right of women to an education, according to the study's findings. Liberal feminism, which Malala holds in high regard, advocates for women's emancipation, equal rights, and the ability to pursue higher education. Many people believe that getting women out of poverty, violent situations, prejudice, and societal injustice may be achieved via education. Furthermore, the principles of the Qur'an on the need to seek knowledge, human equality, and peaceful problem-solving are intimately connected to Malala's education philosophy. As a result, Malala's fight is an international call to action for equality in education and a powerful symbol of defiance against gender discrimination.
